Miles is Already Making an Impact!

Miles couldn’t wait to get started and has already been making the rounds at our incredible local schools, and WOW, the reception has been incredible! The energy he brings is absolutely electric. He’s been greeted with roaring cheers, endless high-fives, and some of the biggest smiles we have ever seen.

He’s been spotted cheering on students at morning run clubs, dancing with teachers, and becoming an instant celebrity on campus. Just look at the amazing welcome he received from the fantastic staff who lead our programs every day!

The students are just as excited! We even saw this amazing banner created by the Skyhawks at Sky Country Elementary School in Jurupa Valley, CA. It’s clear that Miles is already inspiring kids to get moving and have fun doing it.

More Than a Mascot: A Symbol of a Thriving School Culture

Seeing Miles in action is a powerful reminder of what the 100 Mile Club is all about. He isn’t just a mascot; he’s a reflection of the positive, healthy, and connected culture that your schools are building every single day.

When a school embraces the 100 Mile Club, it’s about so much more than just running. It’s about creating an environment where students thrive. Here’s what that looks like:

  • Boosting Brain Power: Active kids are focused kids! The movement students get in 100 Mile Club increases blood flow to the brain, helping them stay alert and ready to learn in the classroom.
  • Building Confidence and Grit: There is nothing like the feeling of setting a huge goal—like running 100 miles—and crushing it, one lap at a time. Students learn perseverance and build unshakeable self-confidence that carries over into all aspects of their lives.
  • Improving School Climate: The 100 Mile Club provides a positive outlet for energy, which leads to better behavior and a calmer, more engaged student body. It’s all about creating a space where everyone feels they belong and can be their best selves.
  • Fostering Community and Kindness: When students and staff run together, they build powerful bonds. They cheer for one another, celebrate milestones together, and create a true community. Miles is a champion for this spirit of teamwork and kindness.

We are so excited for you all to get to know Miles the Medal. He’s a testament to the hard work of every student, the dedication of every coach, and the spirit of our entire 100 Mile Club community. Let’s give a huge 100 Mile Club welcome to Miles! ❤️
