“Most people will talk the talk, few will walk the walk; be amongst those few.” – Dr. Steve Maraboli. Some people will even go the EXTRA MILE and run the run, like our excellent Coach Sandy Rodriguez. Terrace View Elementary School has had the honor and privilege of having Coach Sandy as their 100 Mile Club coach since 2019. Not only does she implement our program, creating Healthy, Happy, Connected Kids on her campus for the last four years, but she also participated in our Ultra Run4Kids 2023. She ran in, completed her first 100 Miler race, and raised funds to support 100 Mile Club programs nationwide. Coach Sandy is spending her time going the EXTRA MILE and achieving big goals to make a difference in her community and nationwide. We see you! We appreciate you! Keep changing the world…one Mile and one sMILE at a time!!
“I am running in the Run4Kids Ultra because, as a 100 Mile Club Coach, I love sharing my passion with students. I love watching them go from running/walking during 100 Mile Club to participating in local races. The transformations made and the confidence gained as the year progresses are my gratification. This race will allow me to share miles of smiles and maybe some tears with my runners as I take on a running challenge myself. I don’t always get the opportunity to run with them, and this race will give me the opportunity. I want them to learn anything is possible if you believe! There are no limits to what we are capable of achieving. It’s all in the attitude!” – Coach Sandy.
💖A huge thanks again to Coach Sandy for your dedication and hard work!💖
