Please Note: All community meet-ups have been cancelled until April 1st. For the latest updates, please check our COVID-19 update page here.

Welcome to our calendar of local Meet-ups and Community Events!
All calendar items are independent local meet-ups hosted by outside volunteers, or are organized events ran and managed by other organizations. All are open to 100 Mile Club participants and families.
Please check periodically for time/date changes and cancellations, or contact the volunteer listed as “organizer” for any questions.
Local meet-ups provide students and individuals opportunities to earn miles. These meet-ups are provided to enhance a school’s efforts to run their program.
Credit slips will be issued only for time listed for each event.

Weather Permitting

All events scheduled are as weather permits. Events may be cancelled up until the time of the event. Every effort will be made to advertise any cancellations or changes, including updates on the website and on social media. It is ultimately up to the attendee to verify if an event is scheduled. Hosts name and phone number are listed to also verify the activity of an event.

Credit slips will not be issued for cancelled events.

Want to host a meet-up?

A few simple steps will get you started.

1.       Submit your event online

2.       Attend 30 minute training (in-person and on-line options)

3.       Background check (link provided by 100 Mile Club) $24 one-time fee, host’s responsibility.

4.       If connected to a school, verify outside miles are accepted for 100 Mile Club credit.

After completing the steps above, you will be notified within 2-3 business days and your event will be posted on our website and open for kids and families to attend.

NOTE: While these listed meet ups may be counted toward a participant’s 100 Mile Club goal, it is ultimately the decision of each school to honor miles from this calendar at their site. At most events, a credit slip will be given to take back to a child’s school for mile-credit.

Pumpkin Rock Run

September 23, 2019
Monday
8:00 am - 5:00 pm

YOU know what time it is!! Oh YES!

Time to ring in Autumn and celebrate the Spooooktacular month of October!

🔴 No tickets necessary of course, BUT please RSVP on our Facebook page about it and check for up-to-date information. We will not be emailing/posting anywhere else.

On October 28, meet us at 4:15pm SHARP at Pikes Peak Park for a walk/hike up to Pumpkin Rock! At 4:20ish we will chat and get all ready to Rock the Walk to the Rock! :)

Wear your costume as long as you can move in it. No masks, toy weapons, or creepy stuff, PLEASE.

Bring your camera! The view is fabulous.

NO STROLLERS. Please trust us on this one.

HIKE WILL DEPART AT 4:30 SHARP. The goal is to be up and down WAY before sunset (6:02PM).

The walk up is .93 miles up and steep in parts, so wear good grippy shoes. No flip flops. Horses get the right of way, so move over when you see them and be super respectful.

You must have a parent or guardian with you on this hike. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Either before we leave (between 4:15-4:30) or when you come back down, you owe one lap at Pikes Peak to cross 2 miles. We will pass out Walk to the Rock CREDIT SLIPS at bottom AFTER the hike.

We will still have regular Pikes Peak Park Open Run from 4:30-6:30 for those who don’t want to go up to the Pumpkin, so when you get back, you can do more miles for a Pikes Peak credit slip, too.

The walk will be rescheduled if wind or rain are forecasted or present.

For questions, call the 100MC Office at 951-340-2290 or Sandy at 951-818-3864 (call or text).
