The Moreno Valley Road Runners Club is Southern California’s most exciting 5k and 10K race. The money from this run will help our running club and future day events.
Moreno Valley Road Runners Club will be celebrating our 4th Annual Mothers Day fun run at Lake Perris State Recreation Area Dam 17801 Lake Perris Drive Perris, Ca 92571. On May 13, 2023, at 7:00 am.
What: Don’t miss Southern California’s best Mother's Day fun run tradition! Run/walk a 5K or 10K before you celebrate with our moms. There will be a little Trotters run (ages 3 and under), 1-mile kids race (12 Years and under) Everyone is welcome!
Where: Enjoy a historic course along the Dam, referred to as The Lake Perris Dam. You’ll pass by such a notable lake. What a great way to see the beautiful lake in the morning.
Course: The race starts and finishes at the Dam. 10K race will run the 5k course twice. This is a flat long course with no traffic.
When: 1 day before Mother's Day May 13, 2023. Packet picks up open at 7:00 Am. Arrive early!
Race Start Times: The little trotters run starts at 8:10 AM, The kid’s 1-mile race starts at 8:15 AM, and the 5K and the 10K start at 8:30 AM.
Awards: Top 3 boys and girls in the 1-mile race, top 5 Males and females in the 5K. Top 3 open Males and Females in the 5K and 10K.
Giving away: Medals to all participants and 50 first sign-ups will get a t-shirt.
Fees: Little trotters are free (ages 3 and under), the kid’s 1-mile race is $5.00, the 5K race is $20.00 and the 10K is $25.00. All fees are the same on race day. On race day we take cash, Venmo, Cash app, and Zelle. The entrance to the park will be $10.00.
