logo_letsmove.gif WELCOME!   It's time.  So, Let’s Move!  The 100 Mile Club®  supports the Let’s Move campaign’s goal to solve the epidemic of childhood obesity within a generation. If we don’t, our children will likely have shorter lives than us!

We have what you need to take action to help our schools be healthier places and help our kids be active every day, set and achieve long term goals, and develop lifelong healthy habits.

The 100 Mile Club® is a physical fitness and life skills project for all individuals based on the goal of running (or walking) 100 miles at school or work during a single school year. Our goal is to help our runners experience fitness and TRUE personal success through attainable physical fitness goals.  Students use and experience lifeskills based on The Pyramid of Success, designed by the legendary basketball coach, teacher, and mentor, Coach John Wooden.

The 100 Mile Club®.  It's simple.  You run.  You run and you run and you run.  Just a little each day.  If you can’t run, you walk. You walk and you walk and you walk. Just a little each day, any way you can.

Your goal is to run one hundred miles by the end of the school year. You CAN do it!  YOU can do it.  With a little perseverance and help from the people around you, you can do it.  Your friends will cheer for you.  Your teachers will encourage you.  They all know how hard it is.  They’re doing it, too.  Little by little, day by day you move forward, one mile at a time.

The day you run your 25th mile, you will receive a shirt that you will wear with true pride.  It will show you, your family, and your friends that you are on your way to meeting your goal!!

Using the lifeskills of ambition, intentness, industriousness, honesty, and loyalty, you can (and WILL!) reach your goal of running 100 miles this school year.  When you do, the pride you will feel is like nothing you have ever felt in your life, because YOU accepted the challenge, YOU believed in yourself, YOU did it!

When you reach 100 miles, you become a mentor for others as you continue earning miles.  At your medal ceremony, your efforts will be celebrated the medal around your neck will show the world that you have the ability to do your best, set a goal, and reach it!

Accept the Challenge.

100 Mile Club®...it's waiting for you.

...or, please feel free to get in touch with us for more information about joining 100 Mile Club.
We are open to all schools, classes, business office groups, walking clubs, homeschoolers, families, and even individuals!
All are welcome!
